Fort Myers Beach: 2017 Review
Every end is just another beginning and 2017 was a year for the books!
Thank you for being a part of the Good Time Charters family. This year we welcomed many old friends, and were also provided the opportunity to showcase Fort Myers Beach to plenty of new faces. We truly couldn’t continue doing what we love without the support of all of you.
We were once again proud to support our friends at Everglades Adventures and even made new connections when we acquired Paradise Charters. It has been a thrill to provide visitors and locals with easy access to the beautiful areas and activities across southwest Florida that we love so much!
The largest obstacle we encountered was Hurricane Irma. When Irma made landfall in September, the 650-mile-wide storm threatened not only our homes and businesses, but most Florida ecosystems. Luckily, we did not sustain major damage as a result of the hurricane, and to say the least, we will be enjoying the 6-month break until hurricane season starts again next summer.
One of our greatest accomplishments in 2017 was partnering with Estero Bay Buddies
For Brews on the Bay, a three-hour sunset brews cruise celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve. The event sold out quickly and all ticket sales were donated to the non-profit organization to support science education programs provided to Lee County students, science-based internship programs and community outreach activities within the Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve and Preserve State Park.
We are looking forward to more tours, more adventures, and more growth in 2018.
Join us in the new year for more Coastal Sealife, Shelling & Dolphin Cruises, Afternoon Dolphin Wildlife Tours, Sunset Dolphin Cruises, Marine Life Safaris, Dolphin & Shelling at Sunset Cruises, Single and Double Kayaking Eco Tours, and fishing charters in Fort Myers Beach.
See you on the water!
