Fishing Days and Fun Rays

July brings longer, hotter days to Southwest Florida, but it also brings the fish! What better day could be had to celebrate with Dad, or hang with the usual suspects, than on a fishing trip of a lifetime with Good Time Charters! Barracuda, Jack Crevalle, Lane and Mangrove Snapper, Red Grouper, Shark, Snook and Tarpon are all in abundance during July in sunny Southwest Florida! Now, you’ll have to throw the snook back in the water after caught, but not before we snap a photo of you with your prized catch! This time of year on our charter we are catching small shark (sometimes 5- 8 footers too!), snapper, red fish, spotted sea trout, and mackeral.

We’ll take you and up to 5 of your friends out on the backwaters in our custom built, 28-foot fishing vessel navigated by the one and only Captain Mike– the best of the best of backwater fishermen in Fort Myers Beach, voted the #1 fishing charter captain on the beach 4 years running! He’s a Snook Bight Marina Fishing Pro staff guide, and eager to share his extensive knowledge and experience (as much or as little as you need or want!) to help everyone from the most experienced of anglers to the first-timers. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to hop aboard a tour! Mike is there to help you with everything from baiting, catching and cleaning what you reel in (of the legal size and within legal limits, of course!).

For anyone visiting Southwest Florida, from miles away or nearby, Good Time Charters has your ride of a lifetime! We fish but we also offer a variety of other excursions to capture the fun rays on any day or evening. We have an array of dolphin and shelling cruises to choose from, including our Afternoon Wildlife Tour and Sunset Dolphin Cruise. Our paddleboarding and kayaking takes restorative adventure to a whole new level– how does yoga at sunset on a paddleboard sound? It’s amazing! Good Time Charters, ranked the #1 activity on Fort Myers Beach and it’s no wonder with the diversity of experiences offered to those in the market to stir up some serious fun rays!

At Good Time Charters, our tours are led by certified Master Naturalist guides, ensuring you get an expert-led, immersive experience unlike any other—because when it comes to exploring nature, knowledge makes all the difference.
