Dolphin Cruises Fort mYers Beach

Captains Mike, Cristina, and Dwight are all currently taking the Universtiy of Florida  Master Florida Naturalist certification class and are having too much fun as usual. They were recently on a field trip to seine the grass flats at lover’s Key. The class was successful at sampling and caught seahorses, filefish, permit, whiting, and a plethora of other species. Here in the pictures is Capts Dwight and Mike dragging a seine and the other is of Judy Ott, a Department of Environmental Protection biologist who is also taking the class, with a little bit of Capt Cristina in there. Judy and Cristina used to work together for DEP, and would occasionally do sea grass monitoring together. They hadn’t seen each other in years and were like kids again identifying fish together.

At Good Time Charters, our tours are led by certified Master Naturalist guides, ensuring you get an expert-led, immersive experience unlike any other—because when it comes to exploring nature, knowledge makes all the difference.
